JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution appealed to the local community not to ignore and continue to apply health protocols (prokes) even though cases of COVID-19 transmission have been sloping in the area. The Medan City Government cannot fend for itself unless it is assisted by residents in preventing the spread of this virus.

"Keep obeying the health protocols (prokes), because this is one of the efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19," said President Jokowi's son-in-law in Medan, North Sumatra, Wednesday, December 8.

Lastly, Medan City has not donated a confirmed case of COVID-19. This refers to the data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force.

"However, we must continue to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, such as by following the health procedures," he said.

To anticipate the spread of COVID-19, the Medan City Government will continue to intensify the socialization of the implementation of the health program and increase the capacity of the COVID-19 test.

"For example, in a cafe, if you use this application you can see how many visitors there are, so there are no crowds," he said.
