It Turns Out That This Is The Reason Why The Attorney Wants To Present Munarman At The East Jakarta District Court

JAKARTA - The trial of the former General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Munarman related to the alleged criminal act of terrorism, the panel of judges of the East Jakarta District Court (Jaktim) granted Munarman's attorney's request for the trial to be held offline.

The judge accepted the request because if Munarman was presented online, there was a risk of signal interference, so it was considered ineffective.

However, there are conditions that must be complied with in the later Munarman trial which will be held offline. Munarman can be presented offline by complying with the health protocol to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

"Ordered the Public Prosecutor to present the defendant at the next trial offline," said the judge.

However, next week's Munarman trial, which is planned to be held offline, the media crew are still not allowed to enter the courtroom. Moreover, to publish the identity of the judges of the East Jakarta District Court.

Media crews are allowed to cover outside the courtroom with the help of loudspeakers provided at the East Jakarta District Court.
