JAKARTA - The National Police stated that a total of 12 former KPK employees refused to join as the Bhayangkara Corps State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Thus, a total of 44 former employees who accepted the offer to join.

"There are 12 people who are not willing," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Tuesday, December 7.

This number increased after 4 people who had not made a choice finally refused to join. However, the reasons for their refusal were not explained.

One of those who refused to become an ASN Polri was the former Head of the Drafting of Regulations and Legal Products at the Legal Bureau of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Rasamala Aritonang.

Rasamala refused to join for several reasons. One of them already has another commitment that cannot be abandoned.

"I did not take this offer (as a National Police ASN)," said Rasamala.

This commitment is because Rasamala is currently a lecturer at a university. So, he chose to stick with the decision he had made.

"Now teaching at the law faculty of Parahyangan University and that's a commitment, there is also a responsibility that must be carried out," he said.
