The Driver Of The TNI Plate Minibus Was Beaten By A Mob After Collision By A Number Of Drivers In Palmerah

JAKARTA - A car with a TNI service plate (6504-00) drove recklessly in Palmerah, West Jakarta. A number of road users were injured as a result of being hit by the car.

Head of the Traffic Accident Unit (Kanit Laka Lalu) West Jakarta Metro Police AKP Joko Siswanto said the car was driven by a man with the initials MSK who hit a man with the initials TR,

MSK also hit a woman with the initials MES on Jalan Palmerah Barat II, Palmerah, West Jakarta, on Monday morning, January 20, 2025.

There were no fatalities as a result of the accident, but several people were injured.

"The victim TR suffered a wound to his stomach, torn. He was then treated at the Pelni Petamburan Hospital," said Joko, quoting ANTARA, Monday, January 20.

The victim TN suffered lacerations on the heel of his left leg and is now being treated at the Pelni Petamburan Hospital.

Then the victim, the driver of the car, a man with the initials S, suffered a broken right leg and is now being treated at Bhakti Mulia Hospital.

"The MES victim suffered injuries to the nasal bone, broken. Then he was treated at the Pelni Petamburan Hospital," said Joko.

Joko said that the MSK perpetrators suffered bruises on their faces due to being beaten by the masses.

"His condition was also injured because he was beaten by a mob. He was treated at the Cengkareng Hospital," he said.

Joko explained that it started with a minibus with license plate number 6504-00 driven by MSK traveling from north to south on Jalan Palmerah Barat II.

Arriving near Bintang Mas Market, the car hit a victim named TR who was standing on the side of the road after finishing unloading the goods.

"Then the vehicle continued to move and turn right into Jalan Palmerah Barat Raya and hit a motorcycle with license plate number B-5840-TCB driven by the victim TN who was driving in the same direction in front of it," he said.

After hitting the motorbike driven by the victim TN, MSK continued to drive and when he arrived near the pharmacy in Rawa Belong, MSK's car swerved to the right and entered the opposite lane until it hit a minibus with license plate number B 1631 DOD driven by victim S.

Until now, the TNI service plate vehicle driven by MSK is under investigation.

"If it has been included in the investigation material. It is already the investigator's domain. I have given the complete data," he said.
