Fortune Employees Were Robbed On Marunda Street, 2 Perpetrators Were Arrested, 4 Others Are Still Being Chased By The Police

JAKARTA - Two suspects in the motorcycle robbery mode for collecting debt were arrested by officers from the Cilincing Police, North Jakarta. Each of the perpetrators with the initials IA (30) and A alias Dower (24) did not move when officers raided his house in Sukapura, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Cilincing Police, First Inspector Wahyudi, explained that the arrests of IA and A began with the report of GR (31), an employee of PT Fortune who claimed to be ambushed on his way back to his home in Sukapura, North Jakarta.

The victim and his friend, at around 01.30 western Indonesia time, while crossing Marunda Makmur Street, Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta, were suddenly confronted by six people riding three motorbikes.

"Then the perpetrator IA approached the victim and asked the victim and his friend to get off the motorbike and chat by pretending to collect a debt," Wahyudi said, quoted Monday, December 6.

Realizing he had no debt, the victim and his partner were surprised. However, when the victim was caught off guard, the perpetrator immediately took the victim's motorbike, Yamaha Fino. The group of perpetrators fled immediately.

The victim tried to chase after the perpetrators, but he could not do much because he was threatened with persecution by other suspects if he was determined to fight back.

"Furthermore, the victim reported to the Cilincing Police," explained Wahyudi.

After conducting an investigation, the police managed to sniff out the whereabouts of the perpetrators. Then on Thursday, December 2, the police arrested the two suspects IA and A in the Sukapura Village area, Cilincing.

"The results of the interrogation of the two admitted their actions and showed the evidence, then the following evidence was brought to the Cilincing Police for further processing," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the other 4 suspects involved in the robbery are still being sought by the police.
