JAKARTA - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has sent initial logistical assistance worth IDR 1.1 billion in the form of ready-to-eat food, blankets, masks, and refugee tents to speed up emergency response to the eruption of Mount Semeru.

The total amount of assistance provided was IDR 1,149,189,300. The delivery was carried out simultaneously with the arrival of the rapid reaction team and representatives of ministries and institutions who went directly to the affected area in Lumajang Regency, East Java.
