JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded at least 26 incidents of fallen trees in Jakarta due to the strong wind phenomenon from Tropical Cyclone Paddy which has occurred since Tuesday, November 23.

"There were 26 incidents of fallen trees during the strong wind phenomenon yesterday," said DKI Jakarta BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) Prevention Section Head, Rian Sarsono, when contacted by reporters, Wednesday, November 24.

In his uploads on several social media, the DKI BPBD issued a warning against the indirect impact of the weather phenomenon, namely the possibility of moderate to heavy rain.

Based on the DKI BPBD Disaster Data and Information, the most incidents of fallen trees occurred in South Jakarta, including the areas of West Pejaten, Kalibata, North Petukangan, Gunung Village, and Pela Mampang.

Meanwhile, fallen trees in West Jakarta occurred in Pegadungan, Kamal, Prepedan, and Jembatan Besi.

The incident of fallen trees in East Jakarta was in Pulogadung and North Jakarta it was in East Pademangan.

In Central Jakarta alone, there were 12 incidents of fallen trees that occurred in the areas of Karet Tengsin, Cempaka Putih Timur and Cempaka Putih Barat.

Separately, the Head of the Central Jakarta Administrative City Parks and Forests Sub-Department, Mila Ananda, said 12 trees were affected by strong winds, namely 7 fallen trees and 5 splinted or broken branches.

Prayogo was rushed to the Mintohardjo Navy Hospital after a large kedondong tree fell on Gang Buaya Street, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, November 23, yesterday afternoon.
