JAKARTA – C (45), the perpetrator who hit Iptu JM during a drug dealer operation at the Palimanan toll road rest area, Cirebon, West Java, was finally arrested. The perpetrator did not move when several officers took him to the Central Jakarta Metro Police in a white car. By wearing black headgear, the perpetrator gets a tight guard.

C arrived at the Central Jakarta Police Station after being arrested at the border between West Java and Central Java. The police also brought evidence of two sacks containing 35 kilograms of confiscated methamphetamine.

"When he was arrested the suspect was resting in a house, near a rice field. He was arrested at his friend's place last night at around 03.00 WIB", said the Head of Drugs at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Indrawienny Panjiyoga, when met by VOI, Tuesday, November 23.

Chief Panji said the drug trafficking was related to the robbers at Basarnas, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"This has something to do with (with Basarnas) a network of drug suppliers in Jakarta", he said.

In addition to arresting C, the police are pursuing another suspect.

"The suspect who hit the member is being pursued. From the suspect's confession, after the incident (hitting the officer) they separated", he said.
