JAKARTA - Member of the PDIP Party faction of the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Ima Mahdiah emphasized that the proposed Interpellation of Formula E to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan was still ongoing. Although, it is currently delayed due to losing votes in the plenary meeting to determine the interpellation.
"We continue to conduct interpellations, the interpellations never die. This is still pending. We are also waiting," Ima told reporters, Tuesday, November 23.
Currently, the DPRD and the DKI Provincial Government are still pursuing the discussion of the DKI Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBD) for the 2022 budget year, which must be ratified into a Regional Budget (APBD) in the next few days.
After that, PDIP and PSI parties as the initiator of the interpellation right proposal will re-submit it. Ima hopes that the other seven factions will be persuaded and participate in proposing the Interpellation of Formula E.
"The interpellation, the PDIP Faction continues. We are waiting for the other friends to open one day. In fact, this is not what we want to bring down the governor," said Ima.

Ima explained that when the interpellation was approved, PDIP would question the cost of the commitment fee for Formula E. Previously, the Jakarta Youth and Sports Office stated that the nominal commitment fee to be paid for the five years of Formula E was around IDR 2.4 trillion.
Until finally the COVID-19 pandemic took place and Formula E had to be postponed. Then, the Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Jakpro renegotiated and succeeded in reducing the commitment fee to IDR 560 billion for three years of operation.
Ima wonders why the initial commitment fee is so large and currently DKI can reduce payment obligations that easily.
"The law enforcement officers here should be able to see the suspicion, how can what was previously IDR 2.4 trillion could go down to IDR 560 billion. If we look at it, in other countries no one has paid the commitment fee as high as in DKI Jakarta. There should be discoveries as to why can be high," said Ima.
"We just want to ask, what we want to ask are things that the governor should be able to answer. After all, if this is really important, it has an impact on the community, right, we can also help," she continued.
