Youth Murder In Bekasi City Forest, The Motive Is Revenge Of Persecution

JAKARTA - The police uncovered a murder case in which the victim's body was found in the Bekasi City Forest Park. It was later revealed that the motive behind the murder was revenge.

"(The suspect) was beaten by the victim about a personal and work problem", said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Thursday, November 4.

In the case of the murder of the man with the initials AD, the police have arrested two suspects. Both have the initials AW alias A and B. Meanwhile, the mastermind of the crime or the main perpetrator is still a fugitive.

"This case is a premeditated murder case. The main suspect is DPO (wanted list) with the initials P. This is the perpetrator who carried out the murder and was the mastermind behind the brother of AD", said Yusri.

Regarding the mode of murder carried out by the suspects, Yusri said it started by inviting the victim to get drunk in the city forest, on October 24. They made a sweet promise if the liquor was given for free.

After the victim was drunk, the suspects started the action. They beat the victim with their bare hands.

Suspect P, who is still at large, hit the victim's head with a rock. In the end, the victim died instantly.

"Before escaping, they immediately covered the victim's body with twigs", said Yusri.

With the disclosure of this case, the two suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Articles 338 and 170 of the Criminal Code. Both face life imprisonment or 20 years.
