UN Officials: The Life Of More Than Two Million Palestinians In Gaza Is On The Verge Of Destruction

JAKARTA - UN humanitarian officials warned of a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians are deteriorating, with more than two million Palestinians now threatened with severe disruptions in essential aid deliveries, amid ongoing Israeli blockades and aggression.

The UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the Palestinian Territories Occupied by Muhannad Hadi in his statement emphasized the lack of food, water, fuel and medical supplies in Gaza.

Hadi noted that Israeli occupation authorities had blocked imports of essential commercial goods into the region over the past six weeks, exacerbating desperate conditions.

"The lives of more than two million Palestinians in Gaza are on the verge of collapse," Hadi said, describing the ongoing water and blockade as a driving force for civilians "to the brink of survival," WAFA said November 22.

He stressed that Gaza's population is grappling with rising life-threatening and humanitarian disasters, without access to the essential support they desperately need.

While humanitarian agencies in Gaza remain committed to continuing their operations, Hadi voiced growing concerns about their ability to carry out their work effectively under these conditions.

Hadi urged safe and unobstructed humanitarian access to the region, stressing that aid must be channeled through legitimate and safe channels to prevent further suffering.
