Asteriska & The Fellow Stars Introduces Leaving Jakarta As Climactic Towards First EP

JAKARTA - After being dissolved in the stories full of meaning about eternal love and fear of loss, the Asteriska & The Fellow Stars have now found the climax point for their first extended play (EP), First Light.

The third single entitled "Out of Jakarta" is the final chapter of the emotional trilogy they have built. This song is predicted to be a symbol of courage and a new, brighter sheet 'marking the Asteriska & The Fellow Stars transition to freer and bolder music.

The option to make "goal" as the cover of the album features their musical character who not only presents songs, but also a resolution to urban anxiety.

In the First Light' narration, all three songs are designed like three interconnected chapters and sinematically map out human emotions.

This EP places emotion as the main compass of Asteriska & The Fellow Stars' journey, starting from the final memory of a person who is about to die, the anxiety of the person left behind, culminating in the most drastic decision: getting out of the pressure of the capital city to achieve true freedom.

In the first half, "7 Minutes" released on July 7, presented deep reflections on the concept of the last seven minutes of the human brain after death. This song invites listeners to the emotional idea that love will never die as long as it is part of the best memory of someone we love.

Then, the second half continued with "Don't Go First" on September 9, which took the perspective of those who were still alive. Anxiety will lose loved ones is the main focus, displaying the depth of poetic lyrics, and firm emotional messages.

The peak of the story then exploded in "Out of Jakarta". This closing single comes as a climax with high energy, celebrating the courage to release everything that stabilizes the soul.

Symbols such as terminals, ports, and airports are used to describe bold steps to abandon the routine of the capital city that has curbed it. This song combines hope, romance, and adventure in a complete journey.

"It's about getting out of everything that makes you tight, then walking with someone who makes the world feel wider. There's no place to go back, just going to the light," Asteriska said in his statement, Friday, November 7.

With the sound character that brings together literary lyrics, strong dynamics, and an emotional atmosphere that is very relevant to urban generation, namely the search for freedom and 'home' for the heart of 'First Light proves that their music is present not only to be heard, but to be felt.

This EP, which is entirely designed to resemble the trilogy of music films, is also a marker of a new era for Asteriska, formerly known as a soloist and vocalist of Bara Suara. Now, he is playing with The Fellow Stars with a more collaborative and life-filled music color.
