JAKARTA - The band's shirt has long been a merchandise used by music fans to show their love for a band. However, for cases in Indonesia, the difficulty that is often faced is the difficulty of finding official foreign band T-shirts and having direct licenses.

Therefore, Universal Music Indonesia and Brado as part of the Universal Music Group collaborated with Indonesian retail companies to present official merchandise in the form of T-shirts from The Rolling Stones and Sex Pistols, two major British bands.

Matt Young as President of Brabarado said this collaboration was based on his high interest in official music merchandise in Indonesia, especially in recent years.

"This collaboration is an important step to bring world musicians closer to their fans in Indonesia," Matt Young said at a press conference in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday, May 8.

In addition, Peter Hendarmin as Senior Commercial Director Universal Music Indonesia said, music and fashion in fact are interconnected.

"Through this collaboration, we want to make it easier for music fans in Indonesia to get official and quality merchandise from their favorite artists," said Peter.

Meanwhile, the selection of The Rolling Stones and Sex Pistols as a band made by their T-shirts, is based on the track record of those who have succeeded in conquering various generations.

We chose music as the first theme because music is a universal language that can unite various generations and backgrounds. For this first collection, we translated the legendary music icon into clothing products that can be worn daily," said Tommy Indra, VP of Merchandising for Special Project from the Sun.

Not only T-shirts, the Rolling Stones and Sex Pistols merchandise also comes in the form of a sweatshirt.

Resli merchandise from several foreign bands and singers under the auspices of UMG such as Guns N Roses, RunD.M.C., Jamiloquai, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish will also be launched in the near future.
