Slayer Reunion Becomes A Swelling Moment In Gary Holt's Heart

JAKARTA - Gary Holt, Slayer guitarist, expressed his happiness after undergoing a reunion concert with his band. He saw the moment as a magical experience.

As is known, Slayer has held two reunion shows in 2024. The first, they performed on September 22 at Riot Fest, Chicago, which was flooded with fans.

The next action is no less lively. Slayer quenches the thirst of fans with its best action at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California.

"So, first of all, the experience felt very magical. It was extraordinary. It was a difficult moment to believe," he quoted Blabbermouth as saying, December 17.

He admitted that he was very impressed with the remarks given by the audience. Gary and the other personnel can feel the real energy shown in the concert area.

"Slayers and their fans always have special ties. There is energy that radiates from the audience and we feel it, we were even stung by that energy," he explained.

"It was crazy, like the energy had been felt since before taking the stage."

Slayer will also briefly appear at the Louder Than Life festival which unfortunately had to be canceled due to a hurricane. But he hopes that there will be the next moments that can bring them together and the audience.

"But I'm really looking forward to it. Maybe we will appear at several events, but we are no longer on tours," he concluded.
