Having Projects Outside RAN Makes Rayi, Asta And Nino Grow Musically

JAKARTA - Rayi, Asta, and Nino have been making music together at RAN for 18 years. During that time, the group never experienced a change in formation, even when there was no studio album they produced for eight years.

Previously, the recently released 'Teater Nestapa' album was the sixth studio album, which was released eight years since the fifth studio album in 2016.

Rayi said the journey of the personnel in the last eight years was colored by various music projects outside of RAN. Each personnel even has their own music projects.

What the personnel outside RAN did, called Rayi, had given their own color when they gathered again to work on the Teater Nestapa.

"There must be a lot of music growth, yes, because for eight years we have each project outside," Rayi told the media crew in Senayan, Central Jakarta some time ago.

"The experiences we get are lessons, and we bring those lessons to our main home, namely RAN," he continued.

Asked further about the growth that RAN felt, Rayi admitted that he could not say for sure. However, this growth can be seen from what was presented on the album Teater Nestapa.

"But what exactly came out, we don't know, that's what was stated in the 'Teater Nestapa' album, whether it's the sound choice, or writing the song, yes, it's all contained in this album," concluded Rayi.
