JAKARTA - Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison initiated a music project called House of Protection. They finally released their first EP titled GALORE through Red Bull Records.
Consisting of six songs produced by Jordan Fish, this EP features the musical expertise of this duo impressively from all aspects. Only four months of formation as a duo, the House of Protection has released four singles, "It's Suspended To Hurt", "Learn To Forget", "Being One", and "Pulling Teeth" which they released last August.
Of all the singles they have released, these duo also show that they cannot be classified in just one type of music genre. So far, they have received a lot of praise and also support from media such as The Guardian, NME, Alt Press, and much more.
"This EP means a lot to us. We feel that this EP has succeeded in establishing a directive for what people can expect from our work in the future. Where the House of Protection itself consists of various musical styles and can present different atmospheres, but on the one hand our work will always be consistent by presenting a high energy. We hope that this EP can inspire anyone who listens and feels they are at home," said the House of Protection related to its new EP in a written broadcast.

In addition to presenting previously released songs, the EP release also introduces two new songs, namely "Better Off" and the main single "Fuse", a song that feels like being brought to a wave show in the 90s, full of punk attitudes, with rock guitar riffs, and electronic music styles that remind us of The Prodigy.
Although this duo is loyal to the energy of passionate loud music, House of Protection balances the chaos that exists in its music with some soothing vocal momentum, which for some listeners may find it difficult to believe that this is the first time the two have sung in a song. In its official video, Aric and Stephen also present a video of an outstanding performance, where both of them are seen in a packed basement.
"'Fuse' for me feels like the center of this EP. This song has organic electronic energy from our early songs in theverse, then in the chorus where Steve's vocals and Jordan production meet to provide such a luxurious contrast. You could say this song is the song I listen to the most when the EP production process is complete," they said behind the selection of the main single.
To this day, every aspect of this EP and its previous single-single is always accompanied by a video clip that is always challenging creatively or cultivating it. This duo has succeeded in presenting as many visual experiences as they have worked on their own songs, and their live performances will not be different from that energy.
They will bring this energy to their stage in the future, one of which is their first show in Los Angeles, followed by their performance in London which has now sold out tickets.
