Linkin Park Debuts 'The Employness Machine' On TV In 'The Tonight Show'

JAKARTA - Linkin Park is like starting their journey from scratch while working on the album From Zero. They released the opening single, The Employness Machine with a new vocalist, Emily Armstrong, who just debuted on TV on September 17.

Mike Shinoda et al appeared in Jimmy Fallon's program The Tonight Show. You can see how the new Linkin Park energy from the performance is.

At the beginning of the appearance, there was something interesting on the screen. Mike stands facing his stand mic, while next to him there is another empty stand mic.

The move is thought to be a gesture in memory of Chester Bennington. One of the netters realized this in the comments column.

"Whether intentional or not, but leaving the second microphone empty in the first half as in memory of thechester, and then the issue came in again, was a very good touch," the fan said.

Apart from appearing, Mike Shinoda also briefly chatted with Jimmy Fallon about the new era of Linkin Park. According to him, this revival is not something that is designed in such a way.

"We are not deliberately looking for time to make a comeback, or when we have to find a new vocalist. Our DJ and I, Joe, had time to hang out and try to do creative things. From there everything has been going on until now," explained Mike.

Meanwhile Mike Shinoda also explained that the album From Zero which will launch November 15 has two meanings.

"The name has two meanings. First, is because we want to work zero on an empty canvas. And second, inspired by the time I started the band before Linkin Park, named Xero," said the rapper and Linkin Park conceptor.
