JAKARTA - After releasing a collaboration with Andien, Basboi continued his adventure with other Indonesian musicians. This time he and The Adams will release a collaboration single titled "That's Me" on September 13 tomorrow.

"This song captures positive feelings such as pride, satisfaction and joy, but at the same time also feels sad, guilty, scared and regret," Basboi said in his official statement, September 11.

"When feeling mixed feelings is an important moment for me, then this song is written with the hope of making the moment a monument".

"That's Me" is a work handled by Ario Hendarwan of The Adams and Panji Wisnu as producers. He became the fourth single of Basboi's second album, which is scheduled to launch in October.

Single Basboi and The Adams feel more memorable because apart from cross-genres, this is also the first time for the band from Jakarta to collaborate. Tomorrow, Basboi will also release "That's Me" in the form of a music video directed by Reinhart Giovanni.

"So, I first heard the lyrics That's me, and the one who imagined in my head was the panorama when I was riding a car on Jalan Sudirman in the 2000s which was quiet at night with the theme of the lights at 2 am. That's the atmosphere I picked up. After that Bas adjusted his vocals to my arrangement, then we added other elements such as vocal background and harmony," said Ario The Adams.

Basboi himself was amazed by the results of his collaboration with one of the indie rock dedengkots. He was satisfied with the results, which gave a surprise that explored the creative sides.

"Hopefully at the beginning the listeners' song will think, 'What are these words?' Then in the middle of being 'You can also have the lines' and 'How can you do this?' When the song is finished, they will feel, 'I have to arrange for life,' then hear the song again,' Basboi concluded.
