Fans Enthusiastically Welcome The Cure That Gives A Sign Of Rise

JAKARTA - The Cure's veteran band hinted at their comeback on the music scene. It all started with something that appeared on their social media.

On September 9, this legend from West Sussex uploaded a new band logo as an image of Instagram's profile. This makes fans optimistic that there will be something special in the near future.

Robert Smith et al had announced their plan to release a new double album titled Songs of a Lost World. The plan was declared March 2022 by the player, Robert Smith.

Previously, the album was plotted to release for the European tour in October in the same year. But unfortunately the project was delayed, there were only a few new songs that were performed during the tour even though they had not been officially released.

After two years of delay, fans are optimistic this time is the right moment to return. They flooded The Cure social media columns including Facebook and Instagram.

"Let's immediately release a new album. I want to hear the studio version of the new songs that you performed in Leeds last 2022," said one fan on Facebook.

Allegations of comeback rose as the group's official website has also been updated. Reeves Gabrels, guitarist The Cure shared a link for fans to stop by their new page, as well as ignite euphoria.

But so far there has been no official statement from the band that was formed in 1978. The last time they released the album 4:13 Dreams in 2008, or about 16 years ago.
