BIAN Gindas Introduces Single Cinta Biru To Celebrate Its Ninth Birthday

JAKARTA - Consistent in producing works since 2015, BIAN Gindas has again greeted listeners with the latest single titled Cinta Biru.

This song will be BIAN Gindas' first release in 2024, as well as a celebration of their nine-year journey in the Indonesian music industry.

"This song is quite memorable, because it was released at the age of BIAN Gindas which is exactly nine years old. And so the 19th single, which hopefully will bring good luck to BIAN Gindas in the future," said Bian as frontman in his statement, Wednesday, September 4.

Although still displaying the typical Bian cs music color, Cinta Biru offers something different from the previous works.

What makes it interesting is that songwriting inspiration is obtained from old poems that describe a person's feelings for his partner with a poetic and deep choice of words.

"This song is inspired by ancient poems that describe a person's feelings for his partner, using a poetic metaphor that may have been rarely heard now," Bian said.

"This is an expression of someone's love for their partner," he added.

The song, written by Leo Gunawan, emphasizes the lyrics more, while the arrangement is made simpler to describe the more mature mission.

However, that doesn't mean there is no breakthrough in arrangement. Blue Love is presented with a touch of keroncong and a rhythm that invites listeners to sway,

"The arrangement is still as usual, there is a little keroncong element, a wobbling beat, and a vocal character that still stands out. Maybe this time the content of the music is a bit simpler than usual, because we want to emphasize more the content of the lyrics of the song," said Bian.

"This song has poetic but straightforward lyrics. There is no pleasantries, but it actually strengthens the content and meaning of the song," he continued.

For BIAN Gindas, there are no difficulties in composing songs. Everything went according to plan. However, the process of making music videos is quite draining.

"The difficulty may be when making a video clip. The story is simple but quite tiring, because it is made in the middle of a real market crowd, not an artificial market, where it takes the real market atmosphere without setting it, and is combined with the story of the concept of the song 'Love Blue'. It is quite draining and thought, especially for Reza as the director," concluded Bian.
