JAKARTA - It's been ten days since Mohammad Tria Ramadhani alias Tria fainted on stage when The Changcuters appeared at The Sounds Project.

After several days of treatment at the hospital, the vocalist condition of The Changcuters is said to be getting better.

However, in the last appearance of The Changcuters at the RI Fest 2024 at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on August 17 last week, Tria could not participate.

Dipa, bassist of The Changcuters, said that the vocalist was still on break.

While waiting for Tria to fully recover, The Changcuters set out the guitarist and vocalist behind Muhammad Iqbal alias Qibil to replace the main vocalist position.

"For every event we will live in the future," said Dipa when contacted by the media crew on Monday, August 20.

"As long as the Tria is still on break and recovering, the lead vocals (main vocals) of The Changcuters are held by Qibil," he continued.

In this case, Dipa did not confirm that the presence of Iqbaal Ramadhan on the Changcuters stage when appearing at the RI Fest 2024 was a temporary replacement for Tria.

"For Iqbaal to replace Tria, it's not (true). Because of that it only happened at the RI Fest event, and yesterday only (provided) three songs," Dipa said when contacted by the media crew on Monday, August 19.

Dipa explained that some of The Changcuters' recent performances were designed differently as a celebration of their 20 years of musical travel.

"In several events in 2024, we bring campaigns 'The Changcuters 20 Years Tough', which indicates that we are 20 years old in music this year," said Dipa.

"So for example, at The Sound's Project we brought an orchestra, then yesterday at the RI Fest we brought Iqbaal Ramadhan as a special guest. So every big festival we have a theme," he concluded.
