JAKARTA - The Sheila On 7 Concert in Bandung received a strong rejection from the manager of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) as the venue that will be used to close the series of tours "Wait for Me Di".

Responding to the rejection conveyed by Umuh Muchtar, Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung Beneficiary (PBB) as the manager of GBLA, Antara Suara as the promoter represented by PositiVibe Communication gave an official statement.

Nizam Wahyu Ardhika as the Chief Executive of the PositiVibe Group said that the promoter was still coordinating so that the concert would continue at GBLA.

"Until now, we together with the promoter (Between the Voice) are still coordinating with all relevant parties. The promoter ensures that he will continue to try out the Sheila On 7 Wait for Me Di Bandung to be held according to plan," said Nizam Wahyu in a written statement to the media crew, Wednesday, August 7th.

Reflecting on what has happened in Samarinda, Nizam saw Sheila On 7's concert as well, including for Bandung.

"We believe that the Samarinda edition 'Wait for me' can be a case study, how the concert we held at the stadium can be carried out well," said Nizam.

Even have a real impact in the MSME, hotel and tourism sectors. Like concerts, various domestic and foreign musicians who are also commonly held in stadiums," he continued.

Promoters in carrying out their business activities, catq Nizam, are always committed to complying with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Indonesia and in accordance with standard procedures to provide the best service to the entire community to prevent mistakes and avoid disinformation that may arise in the future.

For information, Umuh Muchtar stated that his party manages the stadium for the benefit of Persib Bandung and not for other purposes, especially for music concerts.

"We take care of GBLA for the good of Persib, there is no application for permission from the promoter," he said.

"Later, if the grass is damaged, we will be ridiculed by Bobotoh (Persib's supporters). Why is it handed over from the City Government to Persib if it is damaged again. We will take care of it and fix it to make it even better," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Sheila On 7 concert in Bandung was originally planned to be held at the Siliwangi Stadium. Seeing the high demand from fans, the promoter moved the concert to GBLA to increase the number of spectators.

Seeing the enthusiasm and high demand from fans for ticket sales last April, we really appreciate the enthusiasm of the fans. Tickets in 5 cities were sold out in a short time. For that we again called Pejantan Tangguh (as fans who are trying to get tickets to this concert) to get a ticket to the Sheila On 7 concert," said Andri Verraning Ayu, CEO of Antara Suara as promoter some time ago.
