JAKARTA - Riko Prayitno, the guitarist of Mocca, was one of the speakers at the BISIK BUSINESS event held by the Federation of Indonesian Musician Unions (FESMI) at the Indonesia Kaya Gallery, Central Jakarta last week.

The guitarist shared the experience of how Mocca was managed. The reason is, the band from Bandung has been running for 25 years without ever changing the formation of personnel.

Behind Mocca's togetherness, Riko said there were several moments when the personnel had to have disagreements.

"Until now we are still running, still original members. The game is really a fight for us," said Riko Prayitno.

However, the guitarist has never had a problem with disputes in the band. Instead, he sees it as something good for Mocca's growth.

"So, it's like in the company, there must be a liter (fight)," said Riko.

"In fact, according to me, it's healthy. If there's no friction, it's not that healthy," he added.

Meanwhile, Mocca, known for its pop jazz style, was formed at the Bandung Institute of Technology in 1999.

Mocca debuted in the music industry by releasing the album My Diary in 2002. Then, they released Friends (2004), Collours (2007), Home (2014), Five (2018), and Day By Day (2020).
