The Legendary Duet Of Anggun And Achmad Albar Pukau Spectators With The Sandiwara Stage

JAKARTA - God Bless' vocalist, Achmad Albar appeared as a guest musician at a concert titled "Angle and Friends Ears" which was held at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday, July 28 evening.

The two of them performed together to perform the 'Pandggung Sandiwara', the song that was first released by Achmad Albar with Duo Kribo in 1978.

Anggun and Achmad Albar appeared in the distinctive sound of classic rockers, which made thousands of spectators unable to participate in singing the verse for the sake of the verse together.

The energy of the songs displayed is getting bigger with a musical arrangement from Andi Rianto who leads Magenta Orchestra.

After performing the song, Anggun thanked Achmad Albar who was willing to attend. He also briefly discussed his performance at the 50 Years of God Bless Gold Concert last year.

"Thank you, Om Achmad Albar, for coming here," said Anggun.

For me, Om is one of the heroes of Indonesian music. I am also very honored to be invited to the 50th anniversary of God Bless last year," continued Anggun.

Agreeing with what is said to be elegant, the audience present cheered and applauded the 78-year-old singer.

"I always call him uncle, don't dare to call him, bro, because I already know Om Achmad Albar since childhood," said Anggun again.

Achmad Albar also did not forget to praise his junior. He acknowledged the success of Anggun's musical career.

"Thank you also Anggun," said the man who is familiarly called Iyek.

"Yes, Anggun is an extraordinary singer, he has gone ahead of buana, in France. It's great," said Achmad Albar again.

Apart from Achmad Albar, the 'Enshrings Anggun and Friends' concert also presented other guest singers, namely Ian Antono, Isyana Sarasvati, and Fabio Ayer.
