JAKARTA - The 2024 Forestra music event organized by ABM by Barry Akbar, is working with Greenpeace Indonesia to raise awareness of the importance of protecting forests.
Forestra was also involved in the Greenpeace Indonesia program called the Fire Prevent Team which was formed to tackle forest fires at several points in Indonesia.
This form of support is in the form of donations from the sale of Forestra tickets in 2024 to help the Fire Prevent Team at Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI), Palembang, South Sumatra.
In terms of performers, Forestra 2024 also presents Greenhouse Effects, a band known for many works that voice concern for the environment.
"Forestra is a forum for music actors who also want to voice their love for nature. I am also proud to be a part of a performance that not only presents a magnificent orchestra, but also presents various types of music, without destroying the surrounding nature," said Cholil Mahmud, a Greenhouse Effect personnel., in his statement, Monday, July 22.
"We hope that more visitors who come to Forestra can understand how beautiful nature is and are moved to preserve it," Cholil continued.
Meanwhile, Forestra 2024 will be held at the Orkhid Forest Cikole, Lembang, Bandung on August 31.
This event offers orchestral music performances with a natural view of pine forests that produce soundscapes that are different from other music concert experiences
Some of the performers to be presented include Erwin Gutawa Orchestra, Greenhouse Effect, Nadin Amizah, Scaller, Isyana Sarasvati, Diskoria, Jason Ranti, The Adams, and the Panel of Barbed Tongue.
