The All-Indonesian Composter Association Fully Supports Ari Bias To Report Agnez Mo

Piyu, guitarist Padi Reborn who is also the General Chair of the All-Indonesian Composters Association (AKSI) expressed his support for Ari Bias who reported Agnez Mo for alleged copyright infringement to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

For Piyu, what Ari Bias is doing is an effort to protect the rights of songwriters. He also hopes that this legal process will provide enlightenment to all copyright problems in Indonesia.

"Those are my members, our members, members of the ACTION, yes, my friends and I have the intention to assist," said Piyu at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Wednesday, June 19.

"We want this legal process to run smoothly and also so that we can get legal enlightenment," he continued.

At the same time, Piyu also said that his party had discussed with the Karobinops Bareskrim Polri to discuss law enforcement for copyright infringement that was busy in Indonesia.

He hopes that the cases of Ari Bias and Agnez Mo can be a good example, so that there will be no similar cases in the future.

For information, Agnez Mo was reported for allegedly committing copyright infringement by singing a song without paying royalties to the creator.

"This is what we accompany our friends who do the LP, the basis for copyright in violation of the song by Ari Bias, which is sung by Agnez Mo," said Piyu.

Meanwhile, Ari Bias' report highlighted Agnez Mo who performed his song, entitled 'Just Ticket' at several events managed by HW Group.

This report indicates the seriousness of ACTION and its members in fighting for their rights as songwriters. Moreover, Agnez Mo did not respond to the summons previously sent, nor his management.

"So, this is a follow-up to our prescons some time ago, for copyright infringement by Agnez Mo, who performed concerts and performed the song Ari Bias, Say Just say, at three clubs in Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta," said Minola Sebayang, Ari Bias' attorney.

"We have sent a subpoena, but the person concerned has not fulfilled our invitation either, has not responded either. Because we think there is no good faith, therefore on the sidelines of our visit, we took the time to make a report," he concluded.
