5SOS Drummer, Ashton Irwin Prepares Solo Album Release At The End Of July

JAKARTA - Ashton Irwin is preparing to launch his full album as a soloist in the near future. This Drummer 5 Seconds of Summer (5OS) has released the first part of its new album titled BLOOD ON THE DRUMS.

Launching ANTARA, the musician in X's upload, Wednesday, June 12, said that the album's song "Break" can already be heard on the music screening platforms and the music video can be watched on his YouTube channel.

Irwin prepared eight songs, most of which were pop-rock genres in BLOOD ON THE DRUMS, namely "Straight to Your Heart", "Break", "BLOOD ON THE DRUMS", "I See The Angels", "Lose You", "Rebel at Heart", "Last Night of My Life", and "Indestructible".

As a drummer in the 5SOS band, Irwin also presents his drumming game in songs on his new album.

Irwin hopes that the songs on his album can accompany listeners through various things in life.

"Hopefully some of these songs can accompany your life. Whether you're sad, cheerful with happiness, looking for strength to go through other days, or just looking for an album with 'blood' on the drum," Irwin wrote on the X account.

"I made a song to live this life. I'm happy to be able to share with you this way," he said.

Irwin first released a solo work in 2020, when he launched a Superbloom that includes 10 songs, including "SCAR", "Have U Found What Ur Looking For?", "Skinny happened", and "Greyhound".

After issuing the first part of his new album titled BLOOD ON THE DRUMS", Irwin will launch the full album BLOOD ON THE DRUMS on July 17, 2024.

The full album will consist of 16 songs, including eight songs in the first part of the album.
