Unique Concept, A Series Of Home And Overseas Musicians Celebrate Winter Concert

Color Me Badd at Winter Concert (Doc. HSP)

JAKARTA - Indonesia as a tropical country certainly does not know winter. However, the winter atmosphere can be presented at the Winter Concert to provide a unique concert experience.

The concert with the first unique concept in Indonesia was successfully held on June 7 and 8, 2024 at Trans Snow World Bintaro. The event, which was initiated by the Jakarta Experience Board (JXB) with original creative concepts and production by ImaginAction, presents various domestic performers such as SAMSONS, HIVI!, The Groove feat. Tiara Effendy, Andien Aisyah & Iwa K to the closing performers flown directly from the United States, Color Me Badd.

SAMSONS opened the event on the first day with nostalgia through eight hits. It seemed that cold smoke was blowing in the air, along with the audience's singing which seemed to memorize every lyric of the song with full appreciation.

The second day Winter Concert was even more lively, starting early in the afternoon with a Special Show Afternoon that presents HIVI! Hi Friends, as fans of the band seem to be neatly queuing up with winter clothes, ready to sing together. In the set of songs, HIVI! performing the song The Kencand Train which in the theme fits perfectly with the snowy place where Winter Concert is held.

In addition to today's artists, Winter Concert also presents the legendary group The Groove which performed with Tiara Effendy on stage. In particular, the group sang medleys on some of the world's famous covers of songs, namely I'll Make Love to You and Boyz II Men's End of The Road and The Universe's You Are The Brand New Heavies.

At this concert, the audience was also presented with an unexpected collaboration between Andien and Iwa K, which in terms of genre backgrounds, is quite different. In the set, The Groove was present again to sing Andien's song Rindu This together with Iwa K and Tiara Effendy. It is certain that the audience will enjoy this slick collaboration with singing and shaking the body as they enjoy it.

During the two days of Winter Concert, the concert closed the appearance of the R&B group from the United States, Color Me Badd. The group, which was founded in 1985, returned to Indonesia again, after finally coming in 2019. Appearing super energetic with a compact choreography between Mark, Kris and Erick, the audience was amazed by the perfect setlist of songs.

All hits are performed without missing. Color Me Badd's fun and colorful appearance was also balanced with warmth, which was felt in the song Close To Heaven. Winter Concert, which is covered in snow and cold weather, has been successfully made warm and romantic by Color Me Badd.
