Mohala Numata Seeks A New Experience Through The Musical Stage

JAKARTA - Simhala Avadana alias Mhala, vocalist and guitarist of Numata, tries a new stage outside of music. He was lined up to play a role in the Pertunjukan Panggung Musikal Keluarga Cemara.

Mohala admitted that she was involved in the musical this time because she already knew Visinema who was also producing a version of the film Keluarga Cemara. He also wrote the soundtrack for the film.

Sutradaranya bilang, 'Kayaknya kamu bisa injil jadi Abah'. Saya bilang seperti, 'Bentar saya harus ronge dan segala macmanya lah'. Hanya akhirnya saya bilang, 'Kalau fair dan square secara kontentara memang pencarian Abah dan dirasa cocok, saya siap untuk nyemplung justru'. Dan saya juga melewati tahap injian, ungkapMala Numata di Thamrin, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa, 30 April.

Mohala said the opportunity to be on the musical stage was a new experience for her. With a lot of busyness behind the scenes, he sees the musical stage as a way to refresh his mind.

"Then when yesterday involved here, it's like an escape refresh from office work too. In the future process, it's just a matter of discipline for time," said Mohala.

"It's just that I think, you guys. After all, in terms of themes, stories and all kinds, it seems like a relationship and is familiar. This is also in accordance with my principle of life," he continued.

Even though it is relatively new as a musical actor, Mohala feels helped by being involved in the production of the Cemara Family music. His experience working on music for the musical stage made him look more broadly when writing songs.

For information, the 'Pertunjukan Panggung Musikal Keluarga Cemara' will be held in Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta with dozens of performances, from June 21 to July 14.
