Stephjaksel Releases "Memeluk Sekali Lagi", a Reflection of Failure and Loss that Wants to Be Rebuilt

Solois from Bandung, Stephjaksel, again enlivened the music scene in the country by launching his third single titled "Memeluk Sekali Lagi".

Collaborating with veteran musician Nur Satriatama alias Satrio 'Alexa' as a songwriter and producer, this latest work carries a message about regret, domestic failure, and a hope to rise from the past.

Through this song, the owner of the name Stephanie tries to explore the emotional side that is very personal to her.

"Hugging Once Again" tells the story of how a failure in a relationship, especially a marriage, is not the end of everything, but rather a turning point to reflect on oneself in order to become a better person.

"A sentence that is the title of the song 'Hug Once Again' is actually very related to my life and maybe many people, where I failed in my home. This song seems to be a door to turning back time to the beginning, back to the point where it might be able to improve the situation," said Stephanie in her statement, Monday, July 6.

The collaboration between Stephjaksel and Satrio is like a right destiny. Satrio, known for his track record with the band Alexa, admitted that this song was created specifically for someone who was facing a storm of loss. His meeting with Stephanie at that stage made this song find its whole soul.

"This song was actually written for a singer who was in the midst of loss. And fate brought me together with Stephanie, who was indeed in a dark phase. I feel that this bond is what finally made me dedicate this song to Stephanie," said Satrio.

In terms of arrangement, this song is deliberately packaged with a minimalist and intimate approach to highlight the strength of the lyrics and vocals. Walking at a slow tempo, "Hugging Again" allows the emotional space of the listener to develop naturally without excessive distortion of the music production.
