Shakira Creates An Impromptu Show In Times Square, 40 Thousand Fans Gather

JAKARTA - A typical singer, Shakira, managed to give a special surprise to her fans in the United States. He held a 'impromptu' show at Times Square, New York on Tuesday, March 26 evening.

This concert was deliberately created as a celebration of his latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which was released on March 22. This is the first Shakira album since seven years ago.

Although it was only announced a few hours earlier, the surprise concert managed to gather around 40 thousand people. The usual scene occurred at the moment of the New Year's Eve, neatly explored at the concert last night.

Shakira took the stage at 7.30 local time gracefully. He greeted the audience at the New York landmark, and received an extraordinary welcome.

"Hola, New York! This is extraordinary, very crazy," he said amazedly.

"It's great to see you again, to sing in front of you. It feels irreplaceable. Thank you very much for the love you have given me so far at the moment of the release of my album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Thank you for coming," he added.

The song 'Hips Don't Lie' is the opening set that is so encouraging. Fans are soluble in the charisma and chanting of Shakira's voice.

He also brought TQM, Cmo Dde y Cumendo, Te Felicito, and Puntermen in front of the audience. This show also became nostalgic as well as an introduction to a new work that was epic of Shakira.
