JAKARTA - Jazz swing survival singer, Aimee Saras, re-released her first album, Swingin' Aimee, which first appeared 10 years ago.

The album Swingin' Aimee was produced by Aghi Naratama (Ape On The Roof) which also plays a songwriter while the lyric writing section by Aimee Saras herself.

Several track songs on this album also collaborate with other Indonesian musicians, including Indra Aziz (vocal director It Was June), Bemby Gusti from AFTERNOON (Creator and Feature of Sleep for You), Ade Paloh (SORE), Sigit (three mornings) and collaboration with actor Ario Bayu in the acoustic version It Was June, with the guitar accompaniment.

The songs written by Aimee Saras are inspired by stories around the musical theater but packaged with elements of jazz, swing 1940s, swing review 1990s taking the theme of love, comedy, and of course dramas one of them is Uni Della about a ballerina with her love story.

In addition to the lyrics and melodies, listening to the album Swingin' Aimee is like watching a film through music which is the hallmark of a scoring composer, Aghi Naratama.
