JAKARTA - Bruno Mars appeared in Tokyo Dome on Thursday, January 11 evening local time. This concert is the first night of his seven series of concerts in Japan.

Bruno Mars' appearance immediately became a conversation on various social media platforms. His name is even trending on social media X.

What made it a topic of conversation was the appearance of Mars when he performed a hit song from AKB48 entitled Heavy Rotation.

While playing his guitar, the singer who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii seemed to smoothly pronounce the lyrics of songs that use Japanese and English.

"Bruno Mars cover AKB48 - Heavy Rotation," wrote the Instagram account @toshiaizawa.

Furthermore, Bruno Mars will appear six more times in Tokyo Dome, namely on 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21 January.

Previously, Mars also uploaded a photo of himself on the side of the streets of Tokyo wearing several typical Japanese attributes such as a Pikachu hat and a T-shirt that reads I Love Tokyo.

After completing the tour concert in Japan, the 38-year-old singer will appear in Las Vegas, United States on 1, 2, 5, 7 and 9 February.

Then, Bruno Mars will return to Asia. He will appear in Bangkok on March 30 and Singapore on April 5.
