JAKARTA - Engaged Sevenfold (A7X) collaborated with AmazeVR, the company behind the world's first VR concert tour with artist Megan Thee Stallion last year.

This virtual reality experience was launched early next year and will resemble a cross between music videos, live concerts, and video games.

The AmazeVR's Averaged Sevenfold concert will allow viewers to wear VR headsets like ski glasses and look back at the band's performance, which was filmed in September at Culver City's warehouse, California, from the convenience of their sofa.

The Vocalist of Averaged Sevenfold, M. Shadows told the Los Angeles Times he saw the experience of VR music as described by Times writer Brian Contreras, as "one more way to reach fans, including those who may not attend live concerts, while also letting the band experiment with stage art and art directions they cannot do in real life."

"When you watch a concert, there is something that can never be replaced. So, it's about fully understanding what technology is doing well, and then completely stepping into what is done well by live performances," said M. Shadows.

According to CNN, AmazeVR was founded in 2015, and has raised more than $50 million in the last four years.

[Vitual reality] is a huge change, Kyung Kuk Kim, vice president and head of production of AmazeVR, told CNN.

"This is a new type of media. People are not used to this, but it's very strong. It really takes you right [to] the middle of any scene or situation."

AmazeVR has spent years reimagining the musical experience for VR. Their approach combines high-definition 3D live-action and hyper-real imaging of stunning artists like Megan, with a computer-generated advanced world that is living on VR.

It's not a concert film through headsets or cartoon avatars playing music. It's a perfect balance between reality and imagination that fans will love.

AmazeVR has a concert calendar that will be released soon, in various genres including pop rock, K-pop, hip-hop, rap, and more. Once downloaded, users can access one free song per artist.

The AmazeVR Concert application is available for download on the Meta App Lab, and SteamVR.

AmazeVR is a VR concert platform company that brings fans closer to artists compared to before. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with an office in Seoul, AmazeVR creating experiences with famous and daring artists, featuring unprecedented crystallographic clarity and proximity through 3D live-action recordings combined with the environment using a patented Unreal Engine-based VFX channel.

AmazeVR created a fantastic and widely accessible VR concert in the new world for fans, distributed to all commercial VR app stores.
