JAKARTA - The busyness of the RT in March 2025 has increased. In addition to managing the administration of residents, he has now received a new mandate: guarding houses left behind for Eid homecoming.

"I thought at first I just helped supervise, eh, it turned out that someone kept all the locks," said Arief, Head of RT 11/9, Rawasari Village, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, laughing.

All residents who want to return to their hometowns entrust the security of their homes to them. This impromptu task makes Arief often go around with his residents who do not go home for Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriyah.

"I'm not alone, there are several residents who also help the patrol. Later there will also be Babinsa and Bhambinkamtimbas which will definitely control the area of the inmates," he added.

With this new task, Mr. RT Arief not only maintains security, but also strengthens togetherness in the environment.

"Hopefully, all residents can go home, worship, and return calmly without worrying," he concluded.
