JAKARTA Twenty years running, the band Maliq & D Essentials shows its existence by releasing new songs.
According to Widi Puradiredja (drums), there are two important things that keep them solid and consistent for 20 years, although they have changed formation several times.
"One of the most important things is that we must always maintain the quality ourselves," said Widi in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, last week.
"Consistent and committed to our brand. That quality cannot be secondary," he continued.
These two things became the basis for Maliq in music. It was also implemented when releasing the latest song entitled 'Aduh'.
Maliq & D'Essentials also said that they had performed their new song in front of Coldplay, when they met in a closed meeting in Jakarta on November 14.
