Maintain Good Relations, Yovie Widianto Refuses To Perform Yovie & Nuno Songs When Appearing Solo

JAKARTA - Often changing formations, Yovie & Nuno's relationship with former personnel is still going well, including with Yovie Widianto, a former keyboardist who has composed many hits from groups.

Yovie Widianto said that there was no prohibition from performing the song Yovie & Nuno for former personnel. This has been agreed upon when someone leaves

"In Yovie & Nuno, if for example someone leaves, that's okay. But there is an agreement, for example because someone wants to be solo, leave (the band), so, 'Well, you want to be solo right? But don't play the song Yovie & Nuno, okay? Because I feel sorry for my friends'," said Yovie Widianto in Kemang, South Jakarta last week.

Yovie Widianto also gave an example of his exit from the band. Although many songs of Yovie & Nuno were composed, he did not want to perform these songs.

Furthermore, Yovie also doesn't want to ban the former band from performing his songs.

"I've come out, Yovie & Nuno friends feel sorry that I castrated with me to carry the song Yovie & Nuno everywhere," said Yovie Widianto.

"I didn't bring it, other friends (who were already out) also didn't bring it," he continued.

It is undeniable that there are ex-persons who are still performing Yovie & Nuno songs. However, Yovie saw that he was still at a reasonable stage.

"That there are one or two more performed, just let it go. Those are also my friends too, they are also the ones who sang the song, what's the problem?" said Yovie.

According to Yovie, the existing agreement is still being carried out so far. He believes that the band and former personnel have their own sustenance.

"Yes, I also respect my friends in Yovie & Nuno who don't perform their songs, they are really solo, finally they managed with their respective solos," said Yovie Widianto.

"That once or twice they brought it, that's okay too, why, because they also have participation in the song," he concluded.
