Rendy Pandugo continued his exploration of music using Indonesian by releasing a new single Biarku Merindu.

This song is also the successor to Senandung Lara, which was previously released in early July 2023.

As the title suggests, Letku Merindu, this song is a celebration to feel longing for an important figure.

"For me, how come it's funny, the words are like that. It's as if we can't miss someone. Even though if we want to miss someone, we just miss it. There's no need for many people to know when we miss someone. But sometimes there are hearts that have to be taken care of. So you can't just miss people carelessly," said Rendy in his statement, Wednesday.

For Rendy, who often creates works in English lyrics, this exploration step is a form of his love for music that is not only limited in certain languages.

The combination of musical arrangements that attracted attention and the nuances of lyrics that made the listeners smile, proved that the experimental results continued to produce a solid musical work.

Vega Antares is the choice that is believed in completing the process of writing the lyrics of Biarku Merindu.

Taking the inspiration for songs from Chrisye and Indonesian pop music in the 70s-90s, plus a touch of Rendy's signature music, this unique song was born.

Not only being a songwriter, Rendy also took on the role of producer in this work.
