JAKARTA - Ozzy Osbourne will undergo further surgery due to injury in a previous accident.

The solo singer and former Black Sabbath frontman fell in 2019, causing metal rods inserted into his body to be removed after a quad bike accident in 2003.

Ozzy also lived with Parkinson's disease, and was diagnosed with the disease in early 2020.

Last summer, the singer's wife, Sharon, confirmed that she would undergo a "big operation" that would "determine the rest of her life".

The procedure is said to have been carried out in June last year, and Ozzy explained in the following month that he was "coming slowly" towards recovery.

Speaking in a new episode of The Osbournes Podcast that premiered on September 12, Ozzy again gave the latest news about his health.

He said he would undergo a significant fourth operation related to his structural damage.

"Waiting down me... I will soon undergo epidural because what they found was that the neck had been fixed. Under the neck there were two sections that my bike hit and destroyed, there was nothing left," he explained.

"All I know right now is I am very in pain. I feel very uncomfortable.

The metal icon later confirmed that he would undergo a fourth operation, before his daughter Kelly asked if she was looking for a second opinion. Sharon replied: "[Doctor] said, 'Listen, we don't know if this will work, or not. We'll look for second and third opinions'. And he's doing that now."

Ozzy continued: Because of what's happening now... on my back, both the disk and the muscles on my shoulder are separated from my skeleton, and that's why I'm jostling my body forward because gravity is like bringing my head forward.

"I thought when [the doctor] said, 'I've been like that my whole life.'"

Sharon added: 'I said to [Ozzy], 'Why do you always walk like that?' And he said, 'I thought it was cool when I was a kid'
