New Kibordis Slipknot Cool, Corey Taylor Says: He's A Total Musician

JAKARTA - In a recent interview with Finland's Chaoszine, Corey Taylor was asked about the new keyboardist Slipknot.

Two weeks ago after vocalist and bandmate announced the departure of longtime member Craig Jones.

"Obviously, every time you have a change like this, it makes you have to lean a little on the difficulties," Corey said.

"We need more time to find out. Obviously, [he] is a new person," Taylor added.

"[He's] good - very good. He's really a musician. But he needed time to find his way. But now he beat everything; now he's really cool."

Slipknot played his first show with his new mystery member on June 7 at the Nova Rock festival in Austria.

The concert lasted hours after Slipknot announced in social media posts that they had separated from Jones.

Not long after Slipknot revealed Jones' exit, the band's original post announcing his departure was removed and photos of new members Slipknot were shared.

The same unknown person appeared on stage behind the keyboard at the Nova Rock show and all the next Slipknot tour schedules.

No reason has been revealed regarding Jones' departure from this masked metal troop.
