Celebrate Age 5 Decade, God Bless Will Hold Akbar Concert At Istora Senayan November 2023

JAKARTA - The legendary rock group God Bless is exactly five decades old this year. A gold age marker concert will be held at Istora Senayan in November.

The 50-year simple thanksgiving of God Bless was held at Ian Antono's residence in Cibubur on Saturday, May 6 yesterday. Present at the event were personnel and former God Bless personnel as well as relatives and friends.

Like the previous years, this event took place in an intimate atmosphere. Surrounded by laughter and casual chat.

Previously, of course there were readings of prayers, cutting cones and cakes as symbolic.

In a press conference session, Achmad Albar revealed that God Bless will hold a grand concert at Istora Senayan in November.

"But the date is still uncertain," said the vocalist who is familiarly called Iyek.

Meanwhile, Ian Antono added, in the concert God Bless will present a very different performance.

This aging band will be supported by the orchestration led by Tohpati.

"The concept is different. We want to use an orchestra, (the version) of which is recorded by people from Prague, Czech," added Ian.
