JAKARTA - Promoter Gudlive has canceled the Gudfest 2023, which was supposed to be held on March 19.
In an official announcement via social media, Gudlive stated that this cancellation was related to a growing issue regarding the Gudfest 2022 refund process which had not been completed.
To avoid unwanted things, the organizers decided to cancel the event which was originally going to feature Sum 41 and a number of local artists such as NTRL, Summerlane, Rocket Rockers, Closehead, Stereo Wall, and Anarcute.
"Notification. It is with a heavy heart that we deliver this news, looking at several aspects with the consequences and deep consideration. We declare the termination of GUDFEST 2023, Our deepest apologies for everything that happened," wrote Gudlive in a statement on social media.

"As promoters, we don't mean to make any of this a joke but we are just trying to prevent the attempts of parties who allegedly want to take excessive action on our shows," said Gudlive.
