JAKARTA - YouTube Music is back to helping you relive all your favorite music moments from last year, through Recap 2022.

Starting today, November 30th to be exact, music fans can go to the 2022 Recap page in the YouTube Music app and scroll to see personalized stats (top artists, songs, music videos, playlists, and more) from this year.

YouTube is also adding what's new to Recap 2022, where you can start your Recap journey by opening the YouTube app on iOS or Android and searching for 'Recap 2022'.

So, while last year you could only view recaps of your music on the YouTube Music app, now you can view them on the main YouTube app as well.

"We know that many people also enjoy music on YouTube, creating a seamless listening experience across both apps. That's why we've leveraged YouTube Music Recap experience from last year and brought it to the main YouTube app," the YouTube team said in a blog post.

By making it available on YouTube's main app, the company hopes more users will connect with personalized shareable playlists, stats, and stories.

YouTube is also introducing new personalized statistics that are discoverable for the first time in your Recap story:

Top Trending: On the Recap page of the YouTube Music app, you'll see artists you've discovered.

Identity: Here, you will receive a personalized “music personality” based on your music listening habits.

Hard-to-Find Content: YouTube shares the unique YouTube content (remixes and live performances) that you loved most of the year, available on the YouTube and YouTube Music apps.

You can also replace the image of a shareable card highlighting your top songs from each season with your own photo via Google Photos, and then share it to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
