Kawasaki Ninja 500 Officially Launches In India, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - After several days of teasing on social media will present Kawasaki Ninja 500, now the manufacturer has officially launched the model at a price of 524,000 rupees or the range of almost Rp. 100 million.

Allegedly, the presence of Kawasaki 500 as a substitute for Kawasaki 400 in the Indian market. Quoting from the Autocar India website, Friday, February 23, this one motorcycle has a very similar look to a new generation Kawasaki sports motorbike such as ZX-6R and even Ninja 7 Hybrid.

Regarding the specifications, Ninja 500 is powered by a new fluid-cooled engine, 451cc, parallel-twin which produces 45 cellphones at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Although the peak power is the same as Ninja 400, the peak torque has increased by 5.6Nm.

It is known, the engine is also embedded in the Eliminator 500 rover and the innovative 7 Ninja hybrid motorcycle from Kawasaki.

This motorcycle launched in India is a standard model, not an SE with higher specifications which means it gets an LCD dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, an all-black color scheme.

In more detail, this one motorcycle weighs 171 kg, slightly heavier than Ninja 400 (168 kg). With a seat height of 785 mm, Ninja 500 should be a motorcycle that is quite easy for short riders to use and Kawasaki will also sell high seat accessories that can raise the perch by 30 mm, to 815 mm.

Regarding safety and comfort, this one motorcycle is equipped with double-channel Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) braking, which is standard. Currently, the Ninja 500 order has been opened at all Kawasaki dealers in India and deliveries are scheduled to begin at the end of this month.
