Superveloce Arsham, A Motorbike With High Art Values Available Only 6 Units

JAKARTA - The Art Basel Miami Beach 2023 art exhibition this time was a special guest. It is a high art motorcycle that is presented by manufacturer MV Agusta by launching Superveloce Arsham. Not only that, this motorbike is also sold in a limited number of only six units.

The motorbike is the result of collaboration between the Italian manufacturer and US artist Daniel Arsham. He is known as a craftsman who has erosion techniques that can produce his own works of art.

Characterized by a combination of architecture and art, Arsham did an unusual thing in creating his work by creating paradoxes such as a billy fasad or a walled figure. This is what is applied to the special edition of Superveloce.

Reporting from Roadracingworld, Friday, December 8, the motorbike is covered in white which is the hallmark of the artist. You can see all parts ranging from frames, bodies, wheels, to other accessories covered in white and seat cowl bearing art techniques from Arsham.

"I am very happy with this extraordinary collaboration with Daniel Arsham, an artist whom I really admire and have a lot in common with MV Agusta in terms of value and philosophy. His works are very inspiring, and together we will bring our Motorcycle Art to the next level," said Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta.

MV Agusta Superveloce uses Marzocchi's reverse fork suspension with a diameter of 43 mm on the front which can be fully tuned with a 125 mm fork travel. Then, the back is equipped with a Sachs monoshock which can be arranged at a travel diameter of 130 mm.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 16.5 liters, while the dry weight is claimed to be 173 kg. The seating height is set at 830 mm from the ground level.

In the braking section, the manufacturer gives him a four-piston timesper of a radially coupled Brembo with a twin floating brake disk with a diameter of 320 mm in front and a two-piston caliber and a 220 mm disk on the back. The braking system becomes more optimal with a Continental MK100 Cornering ABS as standard.

Taking a base from MV Agusta Superveloce 800, the manufacturer maintains a 3-cylinder DOHC engine with 12 valves with a capacity of 798 cc. Thus, this motor is capable of producing up to 147 dk of wild power with a torque of 88 Nm.

Unfortunately, the price of one motorbike was not announced but as a comparison in 2020, MV Agusta also released 110 units of limited edition Alpine Superveloce at 36,300 euros or around Rp. 607 million exchange rates at this time.
