Try Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro, How Fun is This Coupe SUV?

JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) recently officially launched the Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro, as the flagship variant, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

The presence of the Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro completes the options for consumers, and the VOI team has the opportunity to experience the driving sensation directly at the exhibition test drive area.

Design

The affirmation of Kuro's character is embodied through the implantation of the New Black Front Grille Garnish. The new touch is designed to emphasize the black color on the fascia and the overall appearance of the vehicle, resulting in a more masculine, aggressive and tough design line.

New features

In addition to visual reinforcement on the exterior, Suzuki added a feature in the form of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to provide peace of mind while driving. This device is capable of recording the journey and events in front of the car in real time. If needed, the driver can easily access all the recordings through the application on the smartphone.

Short driving feel

Entering the cabin, the Suzuki Fronx SGX Hybrid Kuro is still very attractive. Being a driver is quite fun because the steering wheel comes with leather or fabric material and can be adjusted as desired.

Carrying the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) engine which is combined with a K15C 1,500 cc gasoline engine with a power of 103 hp and a torque of 138 Nm, the power is quite impressive and gives a pleasant impression.

All variants of the Suzuki Fronx are equipped with MacPherson Strut suspension in the front and Torsion Beam in the back. The combination provides a fun to drive feel.

When passing obstacles in the form of speed bumps, the suspension feels a bit stiff (stiff) but still has a smooth rebound and still feels comfortable. Meanwhile, when used for sharp turns, the vehicle remains stable and does not wobble

Price

As the highest variant, SGX is available in various types, namely the standard AT for Rp329 million, the two-tone AT worth Rp 331 million, and the newly launched Kuro type at a price of Rp 338 million.
