JAKARTA - Lamborghini's luxury car hit a scavenger to death on Jl. Pluit Selatan Raya Penjaringan, North Jakarta on Monday, August 19 in the morning.
Head of the North Jakarta Police Traffic Unit, Kompol Edy Purwanto, said the car driven by the man with the initials RK drove from west to east and hit a scavenger at around 00.30 WIB.
As a result of the accident, the scavenger died at the scene with severe injuries to the legs and head. Meanwhile, the supercar with police number B 4 JAJ suffered damage to the top and the windshield was cracked.
It is known that the car that hit this scavenger was Lamborghini Huracan STO, which is a vehicle focused on racing tracks.
What are the specifications regarding this supercar?
Huracan STO has several differences compared to its standards, such as the presence of a higher back wing with a medium-sized snorkel to cool the engine. The NAME of STO itself stands for Super Trofeo Omologistato.
Lamborghini optimizes the aerodynamic side by presenting a coin shark that connects the snorkel roof with the rear wing. Then, the rear engine cover was inspired by racing cars at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship.
This brand from Italy claims the Huracan STO body is 75 percent made of carbon fiber. In addition to increasing the aerodynamic side, Lamborghini also presents a CCMR braking system inspired by Formula 1 cars.
This car is equipped with three driving models, namely STO to drive on the highway, Trofeo for dry asphalt conditions, and Pioggia to drive in wet conditions.
Talking about its performance, Huracan STO has the same engine and power as the versions of Performante and Evo. This means that the supercar is equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that can produce up to 470 kW of power and 565 Nm of torque.
Supported by dual-clutch seven acceleration transmission with rear-wheel drive (RWD), Huracan STO is able to run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3 seconds and is able to reach a maximum speed of 310 km/hour.
