BMW XM Red Label Arrives In Philippines, Five Units Available

JAKARTA - BMW has made another surprise by presenting an aggressive SUV, XM Label Red to the Philippine public. This is the most powerful edition in the 'XM' series.

Launching Top Gear Philippines, Saturday, June 15, this car has red elements all over its body. Starting from the large goal to the 222 Bicolour double-spoke velg measuring 22 inches. Meanwhile, the manufacturer chose Carbon Black as its basic color.

Just like the standard XM, this car is equipped with a BMW Live Cockpit Professional package on the interior consisting of a curved screen, covering 12.3-inch multifunctional instruments and a 14.9-inch touch screen.

The excitement is growing with the presence of Augmented View on the touchscreen, BMW gesture control, and wireless charging drawer that further lifts the experience of driving with BMW XM to a more sophisticated and modern level.

In addition, this car offers a Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) system combining the powered performance of a gasoline engine with an electric motor and an environmentally friendly battery.

This car has a 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo gasoline engine measuring 585 dk and combined with a 197 dk electric motor. Thus, XM Label Red has a combined power of 748 dk and a torque of 1,000 Nm.

The M HYBRID system from BMW XM Label Red combines future-focused electrification advantages with a high-round eight-cylinder combustion engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology. The latest generation of V8 engines is claimed to be able to deliver power faster, more efficiently, and low-emissions.

Thus, this bongsor car has the ability to travel from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with the highest speed reaching 281 km/hour. This performance is supported by M Steptronic transmission of eight accelerations.

Because this is a special edition, BMW only provides as many as 500 units in the world and the Philippines only gets five units. To have it, buyers have to price 18.8 million pesos (IDR 5.3 billion).
