JAKARTA - Ferrari Dino 246 GTS 1972, which used to belong to famous singer and actress Cher, is currently being auctioned off on the Bring a Trailer website. The car was produced on June 23, 1972 and shipped to Bill Harrah Modern Classic Motors before finally being sold to the Hollywood Sports Cars and then purchased by singer Cher.

In March 1974, the car was later owned by famous racer Chris Cord, and then for 39 years it was owned by a third owner in San Francisco.

This Ferrari Dino 246 GTS is one of 2,900 units of E-series produced until July 1974. This car is Rosso Chiaro colored with an interiorluka skin, and is armed with a 2.4 liter V6 engine equipped with a Weber carburetor. The transmission uses a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle.

The exterior of this car is repainted with the Rosso Chiaro color as part of a major repair. The hidden rectangular front lights, side markers, and back reflectors on the inside of the back lights are some of the characteristics of this car being marketed for the United States market. The car is also equipped with a removable roof panel, a rear mirror on the driver's side, an electric antenna, and a bumper chrom split.

This car rim uses a 14-inch Cromodora with a Dino-branded center cover and is wrapped in Michelin XWX 205/70 tires. This car uses an independent suspension that combines uniqual-length A-arms, coilover shock absorbers, and anti-roll bars. The braking feature comes from the brakes of the ventilated disk, which are powered by power on all four wheels. The steering rack, suspension, and brakes of this car have been renewed in 2023.

The interior of this car was re-magnified in 2018 and used a bucket seat with a Neger steering wheel wrapped in a matching color on the door panels and consoles. The dashboard is gray "mouse-fur", while the black carpet coats its floor. Other additional features include air conditioning, power windows, and head support attached to the seat back.
