JAKARTA- Chery recorded a slick achievement from the sales of two models, namely Omoda and Jaecoo in March 2024, which increased with export sales growth of 18 percent. This achievement occurred successively during the first quarter of the year and became proof of the company's good performance.

Omoda's contribution through the E5 electric version of the line-up, which is the first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in the OMODA product line, recorded a 65 percent increase in international export sales in March.

The growth in March was also supported by the sales achievement of Omoda E5 in Indonesia. Where, based on retail sales data from GAIKINDO, Omoda E5 was successfully sold as many as 516 units in March 2024.

For the Chery Group, Omoda E5 has an important role in the development of the Omoda and JAECOO models in the global market. The achievement of Omoda E5 continues to receive extraordinary attention and recognition from leaders of various countries, such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, so it is believed that they will appear as new stars with the fastest growth in the category of pure electric SUVs in the crossover class during 2024.
